description
ATTACHMENT DEVICE FOR A LIFT TRUCK
The invention relates to an attachment for an industrial truck. The industrial truck has at least two gripping tools that are adjustable in terms of their spacing from one another. The industrial truck can in particular be an industrial truck, e.g. a forklift, to which the attachment is attached, the gripping tools in this example being made up of the forks of the forklift.
In order to equip industrial trucks and in particular industrial trucks, e.g. forklifts or forklifts, for certain tasks, various attachments have been developed which can be designed for special tasks that the industrial trucks are supposed to do.
In forklifts, for example, containers for bulk goods are known as attachments, which can be attached to the forks of the forklift by means of fork shoes that are attached to the containers and thus also enable the transport of bulk goods by means of the forklift.
Further, exemplary attachments are known, inter alia, from JP S6118299U and FR 2639932 A1.
Special requirements for the attachments arise when gripping sensitive conveyed goods, which can be destroyed or damaged, for example, by the hydraulically generated pressure of the forks of a forklift truck. Such conveyed goods include, for example, elastic conveyed goods such as those represented by plastic pipes, which are wound into a coil.
The specified in claim 1 invention is based on the problem of creating a simple and inexpensive attachment for an industrial truck that allows the transport of sensitive elastic goods by the truck without the goods being damaged when gripped by the conveyor. The material to be conveyed can consist of a ring collar, for example.
This problem is solved by an attachment that has the features listed in claim 1 protection.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. Show it:
[0009] FIG. 1 shows an attachment in a side view, FIG. 2 shows the attachment in a top view,
3 shows the attachment in a perspective view together with the forks of a forklift,
Fig. 4 shows the attachment in a plan view together with the forks of a forklift and an annular collar which is located in the attachment.
In the figures, an embodiment of an attachment for an industrial truck is shown. The attachment shown in the figures has been developed for an industrial truck, namely a forklift truck. The industrial truck should have two gripping tools which are adjustable in their spacing from one another and which, in the case of a forklift truck, consist of the two hydraulically adjustable forks of the forklift truck. The attachment is designed so that it can be picked up on the forks of the forklift.
The attachment, which in the illustrated embodiment is made entirely of metal, has a first attachment part 1 and a second attachment part 2, which can be seen in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, for example.
Both attachment parts 1, 2 have a fork shoe 3, 4 with which the attachment
device parts 1, 2 can be attached to the forks 5 of the forklift. In the present case, the fork shoes 3, 4 are each dimensioned in such a way that they can be pushed onto the corresponding fork prongs 5 of the fork lift truck with a precise fit. The fork shoe 3, 4 can be attached to the fork prongs with a socket pin 6 after being pushed onto the fork prongs 5 of the fork lift truck. For this purpose, the socket pin 6 is first moved out of a locked position and then inserted both through the fork shoe 3, 4 and through the fork prongs 5 in order to ensure a secure connection between fork shoe 3, 4 and fork prongs 5.
On the fork shoe 4 of the attachment part 2, a conveyed goods holding means 7 is attached, which is connected to the fork shoe 4 via a connecting plate 8.
In the following, only the conveyed goods holding means 7 of the attachment part 2 will primarily be described, since the conveyed goods holding means of the opposite attachment part 1 is mirror-symmetrical in the installed state on the fork prongs 5 but otherwise identical to the conveyed goods holding means 7 of the attachment part 2, if the mirror surface is the parallel to the longitudinal extent of the fork prongs 5 and in the middle between the fork prongs 5 extending surface considered.
The conveyed goods holding means 7 has a frame which has three longitudinal struts 12, 13 and 14 which run parallel to one another and, in the part of the conveyed goods holding means 7 that faces away from the fork shoes 3, 4, parallel to the direction of extension of the fork shoes 3 , 4 and thus the fork prongs 5 run. The longitudinal struts 11 and 14 are offset inward in the vertical alignment in order to enable the conveyed material to be lifted underneath and to prevent it from slipping through.
In the vicinity of the connecting plate 8, the three longitudinal struts 12, 13, 14 then run out at an acute angle from the line running parallel to the direction of extension of the fork shoes 3, 4, thus tapering the distance between the respective opposing longitudinal struts 9 and 12 , 10 and 13 or 11 and 14 of the two attachment parts 1, 2 until they reach the connecting plate 8 to which they are respectively attached. The longitudinal struts 9, 10, 11 or 12, 13, 14 of an attachment part 1 or 2 are connected to one another in the front part of the conveyed goods holding means 7 via further struts.
If now the attachment parts 1, 2 are attached to the fork prongs 5 and the forklift truck by compressing the fork prongs 5 by means of the attachment parts 1,2 a sensitive and elastic conveyed material 17, which can for example consist of a collar made of plastic pipe, can individual parts of the collar partially easily pass through the recesses 15, 16 shown in FIG. 1, ie the spaces between the longitudinal struts 9, 10 and 11 or 12, 13 and 14, so that the resultant partial support of the collar elements the longitudinal struts 9, 10 and 11 or 12, 13 and 14 make it easier for the forklift to hold the collar in place, so that the hydraulic pressure force of the fork prongs 5, which acts on the elastic conveyed goods 17, can be reduced to a minimum, which contributes to the protection of the elastic material to be conveyed 17. The offset longitudinal struts 11 and 14 ensure that the goods to be conveyed are safely lifted underneath and prevented from slipping through.
On the upper longitudinal strut 9, 12 and on the middle longitudinal strut 10, 13 are in the vicinity of the connecting plate 8 around the point at which the metal struts change their orientation, triangular plates 18 are attached, which from the longitudinal struts 9 , 10, 12, 13 protrude and are designed so that, when the attachment parts 1, 2 are attached to the fork prongs 5, they are aligned essentially parallel to the surface of the hallway on which the forklift is moving. These plates 18, 19 can easily intervene between the stacked pipe layers of the collar-like elastic conveyed good 17 when the elastic conveyed good 17 is picked up by the attachment connected to the forklift truck, so that they thereby support the elastic conveyed good 17 being held securely.
On the lowermost longitudinal strut 11, 14 of the conveyed goods holding means 7, which are attached to the fork pin
ken 5 attached condition of the attachment parts 1, 2 is opposite the corridor area and can be slightly offset inward relative to the upper longitudinal strut 9, 12 and middle longitudinal strut 10, 13, are also horizontally protruding from the longitudinal struts 9, 10, 12, 13 plates 11 14 attached, which extend over the entire length of the conveyed goods holding means 7 and serve to support the lower region of the elastic conveyed good 17 when the elastic conveyed good 17 is picked up and held by the forklift truck.
The conveyed goods holding means 7 also each have a limit plate 20 attached to the metal struts in the vicinity of the connecting plate 8, which serves to form a limit for the elastic conveyed goods 17 when it is picked up by the forklift truck.
